Greetings Ladies and Gents,
It’s the weekend, and we are either looking for a party location or a place to stay to enjoy the last few high temperature days. Especially in Munich (Well the iPhone weather app is not always accurate) the prognosis states, beautiful weather for the week to come. However, lets pack our bags for some days off work first.
Bordeaux, a color that describes our beloved vineyards and red wines out of France. Luxurious and tasteful. Women love to wear it too so why should us men not try it too. Today, I will show you my favorite outfit yet. This time it didn’t even take years to get ready 😉
All packed up and ready to go! I have decided to spent the weekend with friends once more in the outskirts of Munich but not before going out tonight for some drinks.
I took my weekender with me in this shoot. Packed and bathing in the sunlight of Munich. My trip to Stockholm was very productive also on the money spending part. This beautiful bordeaux double breasted blazer was purchased at the renowned Swedish clothier Rose & Born (Any of you gents, that feel to refreshen the wardrobe I suggest some major shopping there). What can I say about the fit? It is slim fit, and unlined, perfect for me as I have broader shoulders so it cuddles my physique more. The significance about this blazer is that it is shorter in length. This makes it more casual, sporty looking and allows to be worn with a pair of jeans and sneakers. I believe it is important to have different lengths in the wardrobe as a too long jacket, like from a suit, does not always coincide with jeans or a more relaxed casual look. So a piece that looks good dressed up and down is an obvious “purchase reason”. Another good buy were these tassel loafers in a light brown also from Rose & Born. I have to admit, when I purchase shoes I look to buy them from brands only specializing in such but when I saw these I just had to try them. To my surprise, perfect fit, super comfortable and a stunning shape when worn. My bias theory therefore diminished. Regular sizes are advised here.
Cream and white have been my favorite colors for this summer. Slightly out of date, but I like to be late to the party so to speak. I enjoyed wearing them in an earlier post so I thought to combine them once more with this blazer. I have to admit, this is by far my favorite outfit and I am pretty sure I will wear it out again.
I wish you a nice weekend and as always, feel free to send me an e-mail. I like to discuss some style options 🙂
